 Spliceband

gallery6.png

Spliceband is a continuous reel of crimping material that is cut and  formed in the applicator tooling to produce a finished crimp.  A reel of spliceband contains 25,000 to 75,000 crimps allowing maximum productivity and minimizing machine down time.  The spliceband underside is specially serrated to ensure the electrical and mechanical performance of the crimp connection.  The serrations are critical to forming a cold weld between the conductors and the spliceband.
